Yoga and Organizing

Boy do I love being home! We are back on schedule and going to the gym! YAY! I even dragged Brigham to yoga class with me... he must love me. My goal since we have been back was to fix everything and anything that drives me crazy in this apartment. I think I spend a little too much time here. So, I decided to start where I spend most of my days... the kitchen. My momma always said, "if you aren't going to do it right, then don't do it at all' Well, I wish my mommma new whoever rented our apartment before us, because she would have stopped them from being so lazy. haha! They painted the kitchen cabinets very badly. So, I am scrapping all 3 layers of paint off and going to repaint it. So far I got the energy to scrap it all off... now just waiting for the energy to repaint them. Someday. Brig didn't have school on Monday, thank you MLK, so he helped finish up the cabinets! When he left for work at 2, I reorganized my entire house. I wish I was kidding. I didn't stop until 8 o'clock that night. I decorated our bedroom and sorted all of our clothes. I got rid of so much! Seriously. AMAZING! I made it livable. I then worked on all of our closets because I feel like we just throw things in there to get them out of the way. I cleaned up our kitchen and even wiped it all down. I HAVE MY APARTMENT BACK! Yay for fun projects and no life ;)

13 Hours Premier

Brig and I planned his day off to go to Top Golf and get some ice cream. Well, I arrived home after getting my eyelashes done, and Brig was waiting by the door. He was so excited to see if I wanted to go to the movie premier at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium!!! There was a red carpet and all! I was a little hesitant because it was rated R.... but when it comes to history or war movies, we normally let it pass. Don't Judge.. ;) We went with a friend and his wife! So fun to get out and explore. Such a fun night last night! Love my hubby!!!

Healthy Eating and Catching Up On Sleep

With the new year, we are trying to eat better. Okay, maybe just stop eating fast food. I made some yummy stuff bell peppers and Brigham loved it! I love cooking.

Brig obviously hasn't caught up on sleep. One night we were laying in bed and just talking about our day. I was telling Brigham a story and wasn't hearing any response. I look over and he was sound asleep. That goober. I love documenting even the littlest things!

Traveling and Chistmas Fun 12/17/15-1/2/16

Where do I even begin. Christmas Break was so much fun and not enough sleep! We were lucky to have Brennik drive home with us back to Arizona. We stopped in Virden and stayed the night with Brigham's parents. It was so fun! Clifford made us THE BEST waffles with bacon in them and some yummy homemade syrup. We got ready and did a few things around the house and then went shooting. We would toss an empty water bottle into the river and see who could hit it the fastest. I probably won every time ;) Brig got to shot out new little pink gun that he got me for my birthday. Brig and I took off so we could head to Thatcher. Boy was it great to be back at home. We unpacked and hung out with the family. I finally got to eat La Casita! Seriously crave Mexican Food all the time in Texas. We had Brigham's family party on Sunday the 20th. It was so fun to see everyone. We did a present exchange and ate some yummy food. It was nice to just hang out with his family for the night. Every night we played either Tetris, Madden, or UFC. Apparently we are gamers now. haha! We did big tournaments and competitions. We had our Mullenaux Christmas Eve Eve Party/Talent Show. SO FUN! We all wore our matching PJS and played our bells. Lets just say that we are pros. For Christmas Eve we went bowling and just hung out with family all day. My mom sent us on a little scavenger hunt to lead us to our Christmas Presents. She is so cute and clever! Haha! Brig and I got a kitchen aid (seriously my fav) and a 9 MM gun! Brigham loved that one. We woke up on Christmas Day and went to my Aunt Amy's to have brunch. We grabbed some food and then went back to FaceTime Tommy. That went so good. We then went to Virden and chilled there. We had dinner with his grandparents and some friends of his moms. I had to work a lot and so Brigham just kind of wondered around where ever the wind took him. We ate out too much but not enough haha. My family played the Jelly Bean game and lets just say... most of us died. I wish I could upload videos on here. Brigham didn't even budge when he got a nasty jelly bean. He must be a man or something. It is so fun to hang out with family! We had a new years party at the church with lots of food. We did a big white elephant party as well. Stayed up until 3 am playing Mario Cart and Tetris. We also had our Anniversary while in Thatcher. We didn't do anything to big because I had to go into work at 4:30 AM and we were just chilling. I woke up from my nap to Kit Kats, flowers, and an homemade card. My husband is the greatest. So happy to be married to the greatest guy ever. Brig and I were glad that we got to come and stay so long, but we were extra happy to be back home! First Christmas was a success!

Birthday Boys! 12-15-2015

Tonight was a big surprise for Brigham! For a few weeks I have keeping a secret that Brennik was going to fly in on their birthday and surprise Brigham! It was all perfectly planned out. Brig went to school and work, and then came home and we went to Texas Roadhouse. Emily, Trent, and the babies met us there! We finally get seated and I was dying. I hate keeping secrets. A guy walks up and says "Hello, my name is Brennik and I will be taking your order tonight." Brigham was shocked!! It was probably the greatest birthday surprise ever! Brig loved having him in town for a few days.
