Every Tuesday's I get to watch the girls for the whole day! It is always eventful! Sophie begged to go see my new apartment, so off to Irving we go! We spent the day playing and waiting for Mima to get home. Finally that time came! Lunch Break! He played with the girls and they absolutely love him. When he left we decided to make some milkshakes... and can you say fail? After making them "so cute" we finally decided to try it. Sophie looks at me and goes "this doesn't taste very good... maybe we should go buy one." She was right... and til this day, I am not allowed to make milkshakes with her! HA! We decided to wait for Mima to get out of school and to meet him at Braum's! It was perfect. We got to see Mima and got some edible milkshakes! He's so great with them!

2/25/2016 MOVING DAY!!!
We finally got out of our yucky apartment and went to a nicer one! The only thing was that Brig was in school and work while we (I) were moving! :( Oh... and we lived on the third story! HA! Well, Brigham helped pack up the car the night before so I could get everything ready! So that was very helpful! I made too many trips up and down those stairs... I should totally have a nice body by now. I unpacked as I went and did what I could. Brig invited his friend and his fiance over to help us! It was so helpful! They brought our bed, our couch, our chair, our nightstands and the list could go on. I was in heaven! I made a big pot of my famous Mac and Cheese and we had a nice little dinner on the floor! It was so nice to be somewhere that did not have bugs or mice or where you could hear your neighbor have conversations. I was in heaven! OHHHH my kitchen. Don't even get me started on my new and lovely kitchen!! AMAZING! It has been fun to unpack and start fresh!
2/14/2016 V-DAY!
I woke up to an amazing breakfast! Sadly I ate a lot of it before I could get a picture! BUT! I did capture the French Toast! Love my hubby!
2/5/2016 Weekend Getaway to San Antonio!
I am behind in blogging, but I still want to play catch up :)
Brigham woke me up at 6:00 saying to get up and get dressed because we were going to San Antonio. I was confused and possibly still asleep. I got up and asked if I needed to pack anything. He quickly told me that he had already packed us an overnight bag and that we will book a hotel on the way. If you know me, I am not spontaneous... I like a plan and I like it ahead of time. But, seeing how much we needed this, I got dressed and went to the car! It is a 4 hour car ride and really not that bad. We spent the whole day phone free (social media free). It was so nice to be in the car and to just enjoy my husband. If I remember right, things were a little bit odd with us.. due to not being pregnant and being emotional 24/7 about it. So, it was much needed. The car ride was great! I found a hotel, Brigham and I sang our heads off, and we just got to be ourselves and not worry about what the world was doing. We set goals, we communicated, we figured out what we want for our future. It was just perfect... and I haven't even gotten to the actual vacation part! We finally arrived to our Hotel, which was right on the River walk! We took our luggage upstairs and settled in. We decided to walk the River Walk and see what there was to eat. Ohhhhh the food! We walked all the way down to the Alamo (it doesn't have a basement;)) and walked through it. Then we explored a little around there and went to the Guinness World Records Museum and possibly spent hours there. We played some other games along there and just enjoyed the perfect weather! We ate too much food and walked it all off! That night we enjoyed a yummy dinner (can't really remember) and took a ride down the River Walk. So romantic. The River Walk is just gorgeous! After hours of looking around and walking and getting lost, we decided to grab some snacks and head up the the hotel. We dumped our sweets out, got in our pjs, and just ate! We watched a movie and just relaxed. I feel like this night was the night I grew closer to my husband then ever. I could go on and on about it... but somethings are just too great to share :) We went to bed and decided to sleep in the next day! We had to leave early because Brigham had a church meeting that evening. So, we didn't do much exploring and just relaxed. We packed up and back home we went! Such a fun trip!
