April 11th, Brig signed us up to help my Uncle David build a fence on his land.... 22 acres. We started at 7 AM and did not end until 2! It was a longgggg day in the sun. Surprisingly I loved it! I got down and dirty and actually built a bob wired fence! My husband was very impressed. I may have gotten a huge sunburn, but that is okay. Brig and I decided that this was like couples therapy... I slightly agree!
April 10th, A great Friday in Thatcher. Trent and Tyler were playing in a football league to help raise money for a little boy named Rhett that has a diagnosis. I love how Thatcher just comes together to help families raise money for illness or anything. I am really starting to soak up every little moment I have with my family. I seriously have the greatest family ever. We left early to go watch a movie with our friends, Brooke and Riley. I love hanging out with them! The movie was so dang goooood! Poor Brig, he wanted more of a manly movie.... chick flick will do.
April 4th, Easter weekend. Brig and I decided to go watch conference and spend the day in Virden. Sadly, I was on call for work so I had to take the phone with me. It was not too bad. We did a nice brunch with his family and an Easter Egg Hunt with his nieces. It was fun to hang out and soak up as much as time possible with his side. Brig and I stole the fourwheeler and went exploring Virden. We found this river and decided to walk around the beauty for a bit. Great day with the family!
April 1st... APRIL FOOLS! Well this day started out as the normal ways. Work, work, and more work. That afternoon, Brig came to work and told me either the greatest news ever or a terrible April Fools joke. HE GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE AVIATION INSTITUTE OF MAINTENANCE IN IRVING TEXAS FOR AUGUST 24TH! WOWWWW! I actually have to leave my mommy now! I am so stinkin' excited to be moving to to Texas. I am so proud of my husband and all he has done. We are moving forward in life and I am so excited to see what it has to offer us.
Monday, March 30th rolls around and it was crazy busy. Isn't eveyday? I was learning payroll at work because our manager (Jass) got a new job and was leaving. The stress was on my shoulders. My husband was obviously not getting as much attention as he normally does, I didn't eat lunch till 2, I got nothing at work I needed to get done, and the list went on. Finally, Brig got home around 6 and decided that he was going to take me on a date. He grabbed a Little Ceasar's Pizza and picked out me an outfit to wear. He started driving towards Solomon and I was a little worried, nothing is in Solomon. He parks and I was terrified. I do not like nature. He had to basical pull me out of the truck. We walked a ways and climbed through bushes to finally get to our destination. It was this area him and his friends built to bring their "chicks". It was adorable! He built a fire and we sat on the log and talked and talked. I asked why he planned all of this and he goe, "happy 3 months babe!" I was speechless and wanted to just cry. I love my husband. Honestly just what I needed!
What a busy busy busy week/month. I am sooo behind, so I get to play catch up! YAY! Friday, March 27th, we spend hours and hours after work working on Camille's Bridal Shower; my family has some serious planning party probs. 8:30 rolled around and Brig and I finally took Sophie and Quinn home so they could get bathed and go to sleep, so Emily and Trent could stay. We had a huge date planned.. and by huge I mean ordering La Casita and watching The Voice in our PJs. Due to all the craziness we ended up eating cold pizza on Emily's couch at 10 P.M. and watching whatever was on at the time. Saturday, March 28th, we had a busier day, Camille's Bridal Shower turned out perfectly! Emily went over the top with it all and it was all so stinkin adorable! That night Nicole, Haley, Brennik, Brig, and I went to Red Knolls to go it glow in the dark golf balls off it! We explored a little in the caves and it was so fun!
